Chicken pox is the disease which comes usually in children and some bumps appear in this disease. This gets well in a week but it leaves some scars on the face as well as on body. The scars are permanent and remain forever on the face. They are practically impossible to remove. Yet some treatments are there.

Treatment of Pock Marks

  • Some facials or lanolin creams can also be used.
  • Although this is not like a disease. No pain, no itching, no harm is done. So no treatment is needed. The treatment is only due to cosmetic reasons and also the treatment is painful and expensive. So, usually a treatment is not recommended.
  • You can use deep cleansing milk in night before sleeping and apply a nourishing cream. This will reduce the marks.
  • Skin peeling: For skin peeling, many kinds of pastes are applied on the patient's face. A layer of the skin gets peeled off after application of the paste and the skin gets spotless after repeating the process many times.
  • Sand-paper surgery: This is generally done in foreign countries. It is not prevalent in India due to its excessive cost. The drawback is that the patient has to suffer a lot of pain due to numerous small operations on the skin, so these operations should be done only by a specialist.
